Ministry on S. Court Street 9/2/09

There has been so much that has been going on around here, and so many things to be praying for, I don't hardly know where to start! Please pray for the children that we come in contact with every day. We specifically want to pray for their salvation. We have had four kids pray to receive Christ. There are several others who have heard
the Good News and are struggling with their decision. Pray for their homes and parents/guardians. We are slowly finding out more about what kind of homes these children come from, and want to start a prayer group with some of the mom's who are home during the day. Pray that we would find favor with these adults. Also, please pray for Katrina Roper. Katrina is the new principle at Lanier High School, which is across the street from us. We met her yesterday and spent time talking and praying with her. She is a godly woman and feels the Lord has called her to this place, but she needs help from the community. We are raising up an army of prayer warriors to pray for Katrina. The job she is undertaking will only be done with the Lord's help and through prayer! If you are wanting to get involved in a local ministry, please consider helping us help her change Lanier...we can do this through prayer!
